Механизмът му трепти с 500 херца, или 3,6 милиона удара в секунда и постига нечуваната досега прецизност от 1/1000 секунда. It oscillates with 500 Hz, or 3.6 million beats per second and is the first to measure and display time with a precision of 1/1000 th second. The new mechanism at the core of the chronograph has 12 pending patents, and allows the central hand to complete ten full rotations every second. The Mikrometer Flying 1000 was produced in a limited edition of only 11 pieces and won the Sports Category of the Grand Prix l’Horologie de Genève, where it competed with Harry Winston Project Z6 Black Edition and Zenith E1 Primero Stratos Flyback.
